WILL YOU WORK FOR FOOD?
Volunteering locally to save children globally.
WILL WORK FOR FOOD gives students a unique opportunity to solve a global problem by taking action locally. Participants volunteer in their communities and at the same time raise money to send nutritional supplements to malnourished children in Darfur.
It's easy to sign up and get involved:
- Register and create a profile.
- Create a "work effort" that explains the community service you'll do in your community.
- Send an email out to friends and family asking them to "sponsor" your service work by making a donation through your WILL WORK FOR FOOD profile.
Affiliation with Doctors Without Borders
100% of the money you raise will help Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) fight child malnutrition in Darfur. Doctors Without Borders has revolutionized the way malnutrition is treated by using Plumpy'nut® - an incredible peanut butter based nutritional supplement. With your help we can get Plumpy'nut® into the hands of thousands more children!
Check out our Why Darfur page for more information about Darfur, Plumpy’nut®, and MSF.
