WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? WHAT IS PLUMPY'NUT?
Every dollar raised will help our affiliate organization, Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), purchase and distribute Ready-to-Use-Foods (RUF's) like Plumpy'nut to malnourished children abroad. Doctors Without Borders is an apolitical organization doing outstanding relief work around the world. Doctors Without Borders was awarded the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of their work.
WHAT IS A GROUP?
A group is a normally a high school or college. A group could also be unaffiliated with a school like a religious youth group. Groups allow students at a school to raise money together and see what their fellow students are up to. Check out the University of Michigan group for an example.
WHAT IS A WORK EFFORT?
A work effort is any act of community service by either an individual or a club/team/class. On the site, work efforts allow people to write about their volunteer work. Work efforts also allow clubs/teams/classes to track how much money they raise together.
Examples of work efforts include: an individual serving a meal at a soup kitchen, University of Michigan Chapter of Amnesty International or the Huron High School Volleyball team. Check out UofM Circle K for an example.

HOW IS WILL WORK FOR FOOD DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RELIEF ORGANIZAITONS?
WILL WORK FOR FOOD distinguishes itself from other relief organizations because it allows participants from around the world to better their own community while raising relief funds for an international crisis at the same time.
WILL WORK FOR FOOD has found grants and donors to cover our overhead costs so we can ensure every dollar raised helps save malnourished children.
