The University of North Carolina prides itself on activism both at home and abroad, and our students are excited about the opportunity to demonstrate each aspect via Will Work for Food. Volunteer work in the Chapel Hill community will benefit not only locals in need, but help to alleviate suffering around the world as well. One goal of the University's, as listed in the official mission statement, is to "enhance the quality of life for all people in the state; and address, as appropriate, regional, national and international needs."

So, register - do some community service - and then get a friend or family member to "sponsor" that work by making a donation.
