Steve and Ben Legman (former WWFF Director of Operations) also got to meet and speak with Actor and Activist Matthew McConaughey at the 2009 Clinton Global Initiative for Universities. 

 

 

 

 

 

Steve and Ben with Founder of TOMS Shoes Blake Mycoskie. The TOMS business model is an inspiration to WILL WORK FOR FOOD and Blake was nice enough to provide us with some helpful advice as we were shaping our initiative.

Last winter the WILL WORK FOR FOOD Team brought Hansel Otero, MD and Sally Najera, RN to speak in Ann Arbor about their work abroad with Doctors Without Borders. At the event we presented them with a check for the first $5,000 we raised.
