Participant Bio

My name is Andrew Hurwitz and I currently am going to Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community High School. Upon learning about WWFF, I was immediately interested with the way WWFF connects local community services with a global effort. Already involved in many community service programs in Baltimore Maryland, I was immediately interested by WWFF and its ability to connect my neighborhood projects with global ones. Disconnected with the issues of malnutrition in Africa and around the world, I believe that WWFF will allow me to learn more about this global problem. Although I am currently unattached with the growing problem of child malnutrition, I think that WWFF will enable me to help those underprivileged children, and thus, make a difference. Currently our Beth Tfiloh chapter has ran canned food drives, dances, and Frisbee collection. We are looking forward to further work for food.
