I am currently serving as the WILL WORK FOR FOOD Campus Rep at Georgetown University.
I was introduced to WILL WORK FOR FOOD by Kenichi Osawa, a close friend on the organization's staff.
I WORK FOR FOOD because I am intrigued by the duality of the service work. Not only does the organization bring aid to malnourished children in Darfur, but it also directly affects our local communities. After talking more with Kenichi about the organization, I decided I wanted to help by bringing WILL WORK FOR FOOD to my school, Georgetown University. The community service work will benefit the communities in the Washington D.C. area, and also bring WWFF to an area of great social and political activism and increases the chance for education and exposure.
