Participant Bio

I am a senior at East Grand Rapids high school. I have been involved in my high school's Key Club for the past two years. I volunteer my time at local events such as the Halloween Hoot and the River Bank Run. I have also spent a fair amount of time at the Kids Food Basket un-boxing and sorting different foods for hungry children in Grand Rapids.
It is unique that my efforts locally will contribute to a cause across the globe. By feeding children in the United States I can simultaneously raise money to aid children in Darfur. Within my hours put in for Key Club it is my goal raise enough money to feed at least two children in Darfur for a year.
