I WORK FOR FOOD as the Michigan Campus Coordinator and as a Marketing Assistant. My role is to lead the initiative at the University of Michigan and to help develop the organization's marketing campaign. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan hoping to major in Organizational Studies and Political Science.

In addition to working directly with the organization, I volunteer my time in various ways-including volunteering at an Ann Arbor preschool, through clubs like Circle K and the Detroit Partnership, and raising money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with my sorority.

I WORK FOR FOOD because I was impressed by the opportunity it offers to act locally and have my actions combat a serious global issue. I have a passion for children, and WILL WORK FOR FOOD allows me to use my efforts with local children here in Michigan to improve the lives of the many suffering children in Darfur.
