My name is Peter DeJonge. I am a senior at East Grand Rapids High School, MI, and a Rep of WILL WORK FOR FOOD.
I WORK FOR FOOD because I realize that my actions here in West Michigan do, in fact, make a difference overseas. Through WILL WORK FOR FOOD, I can dedicate my time to helping within my neighborhood and at the same time help solve the problem of malnutrition in Darfur. In addition, I can spread awareness of the crisis in Darfur not only within my school, but the surrounding community. With more community aid comes more awareness of international malnutrition; with more community awareness comes more international aid.
