Festival for Wildlife

Help the wonderful Piedmont Wildlife Center set up for their annual Festival for Wildlife!

That's right, just when you were wondering what to do in May, we're here to help you out. On Saturday, May 15th, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, you're invited to bring the family, friends, guests and perfect strangers to Leigh Farm Park, to enjoy good food, live music, crafts, displays, activities, and of course, live critters!

We're still putting together all of the details, and we'll keep updating this page as everything gets scheduled, so keep checking back. Spend an hour or spend the day - we'll have enough for you to do and see!

We'll have bat house construction and face-painting, red-tailed hawks and vultures, cute things and creepy things, tours and talks, and live music throughout the day from local artists - expect all that, and more! A new addition this year, the North Carolina Aquarium is going to be here with some jellyfish and other critters of the sea!
